LAZIO(1)

Teams Queue Up For Behrami Lazio wing-back Valon Behrami is attracting the interest of a whole host of teams in Italy and Europe, according to report

The 22-year-old is regarded as one of Europe’s upcoming talents, however his development has been hampered in recent times by injury.

This season Behrami has made just eight appearances in Serie A and his lack of playing time has been sorely felt as Lazio currently languish in 14th position, just four points above the relegation zone.

Nevertheless the Swiss international has a long-list of admirers wanting to sign him, including Palermo, Fiorentina, Tottenham, Liverpool and Bayern Munich.

Behrami has played 10 times for the Swiss national side, scoring once, and was part of the squad that travelled to the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

However Lazio President Claudio Lotito has made it perfectly clear that he has no intention of selling the young starlet, and has slapped a €12m price tag on any clubs wanting to sign him.

Behrami has been playing in Italy since 2003 when Genoa and Udinese jointly signed him from FC Lugano.
